Objectives of SNFCA

  1. The development of the creative arts as a business in Guyana, the Caribbean and the Diaspora; The objective is to forge ways forward charged with business acumen and best practice formulae geared towards ensuring feasible, viable and lucrative commerce. Simultaneously, a psyche shift, in terms of work ethic and professional standards/ consciousness, must be aggressively pursued, influenced by an universal blueprint.
  2. The nurturing of creative talents among the youth in Guyana and the Caribbean; The objective is to identify the significance, promote determination and instill conviction, with respects to creative talent, and by so doing utilize/harness this creative energy as a means to an end, that is, creating non-traditional income generating job opportunity ,all of which spawn economic diversification driven by youth empowerment and sustainable development initiatives with regional ties.
  3. The establishment of regional Creative Arts Centres; The objective is to foster and align with Caribbean institutional frameworks for training, education and technological advancement so as to impel the growth of industry. The setting up of physical facilities in uninitiated locations for the execution of the above-mentioned becomes mandatory.
  4. The establishment of business linkages with creative arts practitioners in the Diaspora and the Caribbean; The objective is to engender substantive networking possibilities in an effort to strengthen insular assets and coordinate the consolidation of these dynamic forces, which in turn defines and qualifies the appreciation of a (regional) creative industry.
  5. The creation of an Investment Fund and other financial instruments for the development of the creative industry; The objective is to source/generate sound financial management/ capital, strategic investment opportunity, relevant grant capabilities so as to advantageously mobilize ingenious marketing prowess, unique sales positioning and systematic trade monetizing.
